Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz or more popularly known as Luis Suarez was born on January 24, 1987 in Salto, Uruguay. He is a citizen of Uruguay football player, as well as defending the Uruguay national team starting from the U-20 and Senior National Team.

Luis Suarez started his professional career in 2005 along with Nacional in Montevideo. In 2006, at the age of 19, he moved to the Netherlands to play for Groningen in the Eredivisie. Suárez transferred to Ajax club between 2007 and 2011. In January 2011, Suarez moved to Liverpool with a transfer value of € 26.5 million (£ 22.8 million).

Suarez participated in the U-20 World Cup in 2007, strengthening the Uruguay national team.
